That's what two Highlands families are encouraging locals to do.
Mckay Photography and Lemon Zebra Kids are working together to raise money for BDCU Children's Foundation.
Darryn and Kirstine McKay said they wanted to do something to raise money for a local cause and they admired the work of the BDCU Children's Foundation.
"They do much special work so we decided to raise some money for them this Christmas," Mrs McKay said.
The McKay's teamed up with Lemon Zebra Kids owners Alix and Stuart Jamieson-Pate to host a winter wonderland photo shoot.
"We're both families with young kids so we said let's do something together," Mrs McKay said.
Mr Jamieson-Pate said it was nice to have a Christmas themed photo shoot with a difference.
"Kirstine has designed and decorated the set and it's fantastic. Some children are frightened of Santa so this is a way to get Christmas photos with a difference," she said.
She said they were big believers in giving back to the community and doing that through BDCU Children's Foundation was perfect way to do that at Christmas time.
"We think about others at Christmas time; it can be a hard time for people, especially children who are in hospital and the Foundation does such an excellent job," Mrs McKay said
The photo shoot is $15 and includes a 5 x 7 photo and an emailed copy.
Proceeds go to BCDU Children's Foundation.
"Christmas is all about giving, so families get a Christmas Portrait and help a local charity at the same time," she said.
The final photo shoots are on Thursday, December 18 between noon and 8pm at Lemon Zebra Kids, in Springetts Arcade, Bowral.
