With all kinds of moustaches gracing faces, thousands of dollars have been raised in the Southern Highlands alone for men's health.
The CFSoHi Stache Masters have joined the fight and team leader David Miller said the team's seven members had raised about $1000. "We got involved because men's health, both mental and physical, is kind of a hard topic to talk about," he said.
"Getting guys to open up and talk is hard to do and growing the mo's gives them that catalyst to get over the hump and talk about their issues."
Mr Miller said he had noticed a change in the level of conversation that members of his CrossFit box, CrossFit Southern Highlands, had been engaging in.
"If you go back to the beginning of Movember it was just a group of guys in Melbourne who started a crazy mo comp and they started talking and communicating on a different level," he said.
"I've definitely noticed that happen at the box.
"We've been able to talk to each other and say 'hey, how's your health'?
"The catch cry of 'changing the face of men's health' is exactly what we're doing and we've been having those conversations."
A Mo Sista has joined the cause for the CFSoHi Stache Masters and, while she has obviously remained mo-free, has been an active campaigner for men's health.
"Girls are obviously more than welcome to be involved with Movember and to have one on the team to put her hand up and say 'I want the boys in my life to be okay' is a really cool and inspiring thing," Mr Miller said.
"It stands out to what we do here as a community at CrossFit Southern Highlands.
"Movember is a charity for men's health and the girls are willing to put their hands up too."
The three amigos from Amber Southern Highlands have raised about $600 and The Oxley Mall Mo Bro's have raised about $800 and the BDCU Handlebars have raised $1860.
Movember finishes on Sunday, but there's still time to donate by visiting www.movember.com.au.
