The employees, members of the United Services Union, stopped work at about midday for around 30 minutes.
General manager Jason Gordon confirmed with Southern Highland News that an employee had been terminated.
“There were about 40 employees out of about 350 who participated in the Stop Work meeting,” he said.
“We were given very little notice of it and weren’t able to have it stopped.
“We contacted the Industrial Relations Commission on Friday and they said they were not supportive of what happened on the Thursday.”
Staff were also planning a stop work meeting tomorrow (Tuesday), however, Mr Gordon said the Industrial Relations Commission recommended that it not go ahead.
“We’ll meet with the commission again on Monday (today) to discuss the termination of the employee.”
Mr Gordon also confirmed that investigations were continuing into another staff-related matter.
