Before you start making New Year resolutions and aspirations, you should go and indulge in some well earned celebrations right here in the Highlands.
A number of our establishments have put in the hard yards and organised an entire night of entertainment so all you have to do is turn up and enjoy.
Sutton Forest Inn has planned a massive night with entertainment running until 2am. There will be live bands and a DJ from 5pm featuring Eklypse, Kathryn Hartnett and DJ Phill Morris.
Barman Jayce Flaxman said it was the best place to bring in the New Year in the Southern Highlands.
"It's the best atmosphere for all ages, families and revelers," he said.
Buses to and from Sutton Forest Inn mean no one has to drink and drive.Buses will depart Mittagong Station at 6.45pm and 9.15pm, Bowral Station at 7pm and 10pm, Moss Vale Court House at 7.15 and 10.15pm and Bundanoon at 8pm.
Return trips will be at 1am and 2am.At Gibraltar Hotel, Harvey's Bar, in Bowral is providing an entire night of entertainment with Darren Powell and live coverage of Sydney fireworks, food platters and a welcome cocktail on arrival.
Transport to and from selected pick up point's can be organised for the night when booking. Bookings are essential, call 4862 8600.
The team at Southern Highlands Wines will ring in the New Year with fun, food, wine and entertainment.
In an event that has become something of a tradition at the vineyard and winery on the northern outskirts of Sutton Forest, guests will settle in for a four course meal, including beverages, while being entertained by well-known Highlands performer Johnny Spitz.
The fun will kick off at 7pm and continue to 1am. Call 4868 2300.Briars Historic Inn in Bowral will have four-piece jazz band (Ella's Holiday) performing from 8pm.Robertson Inn has a DJ from 9pm until 2pm and Mittagong RSL has Toucan in the lounge.
The Grand in Bowral has a DJ upstairs from 8pm and Kane Denelly playing downstairs from 8pm until late.
The Bowral Hotel has DJ Teddy playing until 2pm with lockout at midnight.Dinner or a night of entertainment - both are on offer at Briars for New Year's Eve.
