The musical group has been filling the Berrima Village Hall with festive songs on a weekly basis to rehearse for their annual Christmas fundraiser concert.
Rehearsals officially kicked off on August 1.
Secretary Ros Beatty said she was happy to perform and get into the Christmas spirit after COVID restrictions.
"Once we start singing, we start thinking about Christmas," she said.
Rehearsals follow after the musical ensemble raised $1720 in June for the local Can Assist branch, which offers financial support to cancer patients and their loved ones.
Members have been raising funds for the charity for more than 30 years.
Carols such as Mary Did You Know, Star Candles, Pavane for a Silent Night and Ho Ho Christmas will feature in the upcoming concert program.
The Highland Singers' maestro John D'Arcy OAM said the choir is like a community.
"They sing with gusto," he said.
"I'm very, very proud."
The ensemble started in 1988 when a group of friends wanted to sing Celtic tunes, and has evolved into a four-part choir.
Members have brought joy to many in nursing homes, at Tulip Time, at a Christmas in July event, the Bowral Art Gallery and venue openings.
Publicity officer Peter Tyas said the choir gave people the opportunity to connect and a sense of belonging.
Two Christmas concerts will be held in December, but dates and venues are yet to be confirmed.
