A red wine that derives from French roots, it has a unique texture and various bursts of flavour.
There are many wineries in the Highlands that create various Pinot Noirs, and have received national and global accolades.
One that comes to mind is Tertini Wines taking home seven awards at the Australian Highlands Wine Show in 2021, with a silver for their 2019 Pinot Noir.

2019 'Close Vine' Pinot Noir
This award-winning wine has been critically acclaimed on a national and international level. It carries notes of the forest, cherry, mushrooms and herbs

A cool climate beverage that is suitable for day drinking. Five of Cherry Tree Hill's Pinot Noirs were awarded accolades at the Australian Highlands Wine Show in 2021.

A gentle and supple wine, this Pinot Noir has hints of sour cherry, spiced rhubarb and ume with a sweet finish.

Purple in colour, this particular blend was cloned from a Pinot Noir and has berry flavours.

Pinot Noir 'Hayden' Barrel 11
Only 625 bottles of this wine were made, and all of them are numbered. They were aged in a single Francois Freres 500 litre Puncheon barrel.

Tertini Wines
Southern Highlands Pinot Noir 2019
Burgundy in colour, with hints of spice and cherry it is a blend of grapes from the winery's Yaraandoo vineyard. It was bottled in 2020 and the grapes grew in a drier season in 2018 which meant there were less grapes grown.

2021 Pinot Noir
Add some sweetness to your day with this bottle from Sutton Forest. It is a smooth drink that carries tastes of strawberries, cherries.

Joadja Estate
Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir
A Pinot with a difference, it is a bubbly wine with clean notes of citrus and a zing of lemon zest. If you want to really treat yourself, Joadja Estate recommends pairing it with seafoods such as prawns and oysters.

A wine that has been matured in French oak barrels for 15 months and full-bodied. It is made with grapes on the back of the estate in Exeter, which starts rustic with hints of black cherries and earthiness and has a clean finish.
