Antonio Calabro, 44, appeared for the first time on Tuesday (August 9) facing one charge of cultivating cannabis not less than the commercial quantity, three charges of possessing an unregistered firearm (three separate .177 calibre rifles), one charge of possessing ammunition without holding a license and one charge of not keeping firearm safely. No plea has been entered.
Magistrate Mark Douglass said the nature of the charges were serious enough to be classed as indictable and as such, ordered a brief to be served by October 17.
Calabro will appear in Moss Vale Court again on the same date. His bail continues.
