Members of the National Trust Southern Highland's Branch and their invited friends had the option of enjoying a range of card games or board games brought for home.
Members and their guests were treated to morning tea, light lunch, a glass of wine and lucky door prizes.
Branch chairman David Collingridge said the annual Games Day event was to raise money for National Trust properties and advocate for heritage.
"We have more than 500 memberships in the Southern Highlands, they're quite active. Today is a small group of members with their friends," he said.
"It's lovely to come to the community hall today.
"The objective of the National Trust is to advocate for the caring of her heritage, look after the history and not let it deteriorate by neglect or over development.
"Over development can take away the natural rural landscape.
"It can go so quickly, once we lost that lovely landscape it becomes irreplaceable."
There are several National Trust properties in the Southern Highlands and Tablelands; Retford Park in Bowral, Harper's Mansion in Berrima, Golden Vale Homestead in Sutton Forest, as well as Riversdale in Goulburn and Cooma Cottage in Yass.
The National Trust is Australia's leading heritage conservation charity.
The National Trust of Australia (NSW) was established in 1945 by Annie Forsyth Wyatt and an original committee of dedicated volunteers who wanted to protect heritage under threat, including the native bushland of Sydney and significant sites including the Macquarie Street precinct.
This mission expanded to a state-wide and then a nation-wide movement of passionate people determined to safeguard the built, natural and cultural heritage of Australia for future generations.
Today, the National Trust owns or manages over 300 heritage places across Australia with 20 of these open regularly to community in New South Wales.
