Coming off a shellacking by the hands of the Shoalhaven Rugby Football Club last week, the pressure was on for the Blacks, but they put on a solid performance against the Vikings at Eridge Park on Saturday, June 25 to get back on the winners list.
Despite being behind 12-10 at the break, the Blacks came out firing in the second half to win 32-19.

Blacks co-coach James King said although there were aspects of the game he wasn't happy with, a victory was always a positive.
"I thought it was a well fought win by the boys," King said.
"It's always pleasing to see a win like that after a big loss last week.
"However, I thought we let them in too much with a lot of missed tackles.
"I thought we were quite dominant, but didn't capitalise much on those moments."
The first half wasn't as picturesque as the second for the Blacks, but conceding a late try to go behind made it worse.
"It was pretty frustrating," King said.
"It wasn't the ideal defence we wanted to see from the players, but when you switch off and get complacent, that's what takes place.
"We knew that if we got our defence right, we would have a much better opportunity at scoring."
With eight games to come before finals, King is happy with where his side is at, but knows there is a lot at stake in the next month of football.
"Things we have been working on in the last few weeks are now coming to fruition," he said.
"We got a timely reminder last weekend from Shoalhaven about where we need to be.
"We're building well and we've got a run of four weeks with playing teams in the same points categories, so we're hoping to catapult up the ladder."
The Blacks next play Kiama at Eridge Park on Saturday, July 2 from 3pm.
The match will celebrate Agricultural Field Day and spectators will be able to talk all things agriculture with TAFE, check out the tractors and the Bowral Co-op with some great deals
