Three things to see
Austin Butler and Tom Hanks bring the story of a musical icon to life in Elvis (M), which comes out on Thursday, June 23. The Despicable Me prequel Minions: The Rise of Gru will also be released on the same day. If you prefer plays, you can see Henry V by National Theatre Live for screenings on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 at 1pm. You an watch these and more at the Empire Cinema. Tickets are $25 per adult and $23 each for concession holders. General movie tickets are $13 each for adults and concession holders, and $48 for two adults and two children. They can be purchased on the cinema's website or in-person. Discover and Parents NSW vouchers can also be used.

Lots to see
Brooke Dalton captures the essence of home in this series of bright and confident paintings. Escapism takes viewers into different parts of a comforting and ideal home. You can see this collection of paintings from Thursday, June 24 at the Michael Reid Southern Highlands Gallery in Berrima. The gallery is open from 10am to 5pm from Wednesday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm every Sunday.
The Highland Singers - A Little Highland Air
This weekend
The Highlands Singers will spread musical joy at their next concert, which will contain many nostalgic hits. All proceeds from the concert will be dedicated to the Can Assist Southern Highlands, which offers financial support to cancer patients during treatment. You can watch the group at the Robertson Bowling Club on Saturday, June 25 at 2pm. The concert is $10 per person and people can call 0405 106 593 for more information.
Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra: Winter Concert Series Two
This weekend
The Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra (SHSO) will perform with local composer John Corley, clarinet player Alexandra Donaldson and violinist Emily Sinden. Alexandra will perform composer John Carmichael's suite of dance movements Fetes Champetres and Emily will bring Pierre Rode's Violin Concerto number seven to life. Musicians will also showcase other European compositions and dancers from Angus and Lucinda's Academie will accompany performances. There will be two concerts at Oxley College on Saturday, June 25 from 7.30pm to 9.15pm and Sunday, June 26 from 2.30pm to 4.15pm. Tickets are $45 per adult, $40 for concession holders, $15 for students between the ages of 16 and 21, and students up to the age of 15 can enter for free. Tickets can be purchased from Trybooking, https://shso.org.au/concerts/ or the Destination Southern Highlands centre in Mittagong.

A world of florals
Immerse yourself in the magnificent florals painted by Julie Whitehead. Julie loves to photograph flowers on her travels and then recreates them on a large scale. You can see it at the Milk Factory Gallery's Pop-Up Gallery 2 until Sunday, June 26.

Immerse yourself in these community markets. You can discover a variety of gourmet foods, clothing, homewares and gifts for loved ones. The market will be open from 9am to 2pm on Sunday, June 26 at Berrima Public School.
Wearable Treasures Sun and Moon
Lots to discover
Savanna Caravan explores themes about the sun and moon in her latest collection of wearable art. She uses amber and silver throughout as her inspiration. You can see the exhibition at the Bowral Art Gallery until Monday, June 27. The gallery is open from 10am to 4pm daily.
