The home side scored the opening three tries of the Macarthur First Grade round three clash, which was rescheduled due to bad weather earlier in the season, before giving up two tries in the 29th and 40th minute mark.
After conceding the first try of the second half, the Lions then scored two tries in eight minutes to lead by 10 points with 10 minutes to go.

A try in the 78th minute to the away side made things interesting, but the Lions held on thanks to a crucial tackle by former NRL center and winger Bryson Goodwin.
Lions player coach James Grehan praised Goodwin after the match and explained why he was so important to the side.
"The amount of carries he had was unreal and every time he broke a tackle or two, it just helped us get on the front foot," the second rower said.
"His work around the ball is just so impressive.
"His talk is also very good.
"People don't realise how important that is in footy.
"It's such an easy trait, but a lot of people don't have it."
The win was very handy for Lions because they were struck with a few injuries in the last few weeks.
The competition is now at the halfway stage and Grehan said he was happy with the way things were going.
"We haven't put ourselves in a great spot, but we're in an alright spot and have a chance of coming home with a wet sail in the second half of the season," he said.
"In the next month, I want us to be consistent.
"If we can string an 80-minute performance one week, I'd be really happy."
The Lions sit eighth on the ladder and are two wins outside the top four.
The Lions are back at their home ground from 3pm on Sunday, June 19 when they take on the Thirlmere Roosters.
