Eliza said she was honoured and privileged to be a part of the event.
"Corbett Gardens holds a very special place in my heart," she said.
"I spent many of my teenage years right here in the garden with my friends.
"In just a few short months, the landscape will transport us.
"Despite all the challenges in the last few years, I feel that we are back, and this festival will be a celebration.
"I can't wait to be back here and share this with you."
Wingecarribee Shire Council general manager Lisa Miscamble said more than 100,000 bulbs would be planted.
"In approximately 141 days, Corbett Garden will be a blaze of colour and become a hive of activity.
"This year we will have 75,000 tulips and 30,000 flowers."
Ms Miscamble said this year's theme was 'explore'.
"It's been a challenging year with all the recent rain, but we are confident that with the expertise and nurturing, the tulips will bloom in spring," she said.
"This has been made possible by an injection of $74,000 in funding secured by the NSW government's regional and acceleration department."
Wollondilly MP Nathaniel Smith said Tulip time was important to support local businesses and the local community.
"We want people from Sydney and Canberra to come down here to experience the beautiful gardens here," he said.
"This is going to be a spectacular event that will welcome in spring."
This year Tulip Time has partnered with Harbison as its charity.
Harbison partnership management Zac Hulm said Harbison was grateful for the opportunity.
"We're a community organisation and a group of people who serve our community," he said.
"We're proud of the history of Harbison and our connections with organisations that strive to improve the lives of others.
"Harbison has been involved with Tulip Time right from the beginning.
"We are humbled to be chosen as the charity partner for 2022."
Tulip Time 2022 will be held from Friday September 16 through until Monday October 3, 2022.
