A sewer cleaning and inspection program will commence in Moss Vale's central business district (CBD) from Sunday May 15, 2022.

The program involves accessing the sewerage system via manholes, jet cleaning the pipes and undertaking inspections using closed circuit television (CCTV) equipment.
Data collected will be used to assess the condition of the mains and plan future renewal works.
Works will be completed at night to minimise traffic disruptions and ensure worker safety. Works will be carried out between 6 pm and 3 am, Sunday to Thursday.
Property owners and tenants within the work zone will be notified by letterbox drop.
Every effort will be made to minimise noise however if noise is unreasonably impacting property, please call Wingecarribee Shire Council's 24/7 Contact Centre on 02 4868 0888.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when travelling through the work zones and be aware of machinery and workers in the area.
The council thanks property owners, tenants and motorists in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any inconvenience.
Works are expected to be completed by late May 2022, weather permitting.
