SHE CWA Pop In trivia fundraiser
Raise awareness
The Southern Highlands Evening CWA branch is raising awareness and funds for Pop In, a space that helps women and children living with domestic violence. Pop In provides assistance in-person and online, as well as the opportunity to have friendly chats. You can book trivia teams of up to 10 people, where the winning team will be awarded a prize. Guests can win different raffle prizes and raffle tickets will be sold at the door. You can head over to the Mittagong RSL on Thursday, May 12 at 6.30pm from a 7pm start. Tickets are $15 each. Attendees are asked to pay at the door, but book their spot through Eventbrite. Dinner can be booked prior to trivia through the restaurant. The Appleton Ladies' Potato Race
A potato-riffic play
The Highlands Theatre Group brings Melanie Tait's successful play The Appleton Ladies' Potato Race to life. It depicts the annual potato race at the Robertson Show. You can laugh out loud at this play on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14 at the Robertson School of Arts. There will be matinee and evening performances. Tickets can be purchased through the Highlands Theatre Group website, and are $35 per person for general admission and $30 each for concession holders.
Bowral markets
This weekend
Discover stalls full of produce, artisan products, plants, jewellery and more. Make your way to the Bowral Bowling Club on Saturday, May 14 from 8am to 1pm to check it all out.
Music at 10 Ben Adler Quartet
This weekend
The Ben Adler Quartet is coming from Sydney to perform classical music this weekend. You can ease into the weekend with this showcase at the Soldier's Memorial Hall in Bundanoon, on Saturday, May 14, from 10am to 11am. Tickets are $15 each and children under 18 can enter for free. Tickets can be secured through Trybooking.
Crash Test Drama
This weekend
Watch a series of 10-minute plays performed by budding writers, directors and actors in the Highlands. You can head over to the Bundanoon Memorial Hall on Saturday, May 14 from 5pm for a 5.15pm start. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased through TryBooking. There is a free actors workshop for people starring in the dramas, which is going to take place from 12pm to 1pm on the same day. Registration is essential and can be completed through TryBooking.

Discover fresh produce, flowers, arts, crafts, woodwork and more from stallholders at this local market. See this and more at Bundanoon Public School on Sunday, May 15 from 8.30am to 2pm.
Moss Vale Showground Market
This weekend
There are over 80 stalls full of fresh flowers, cakes, sweets, coffee, live music and more this weekend. This market takes place on the third Sunday of the month. You can see all of the stalls at the Moss Vale Showground on Sunday, May 15 from 9am to 2pm.
Vivace concert series
This weekend
Relax and listen to the instrumental and vocal talents of Tommie Andersson, Susie Bishop, Jennifer Erikson and Alison Claire Robertson. Refreshments will be served afterwards and there is parking and wheelchair access. You can see this concert on Sunday, May 15 from 2.30pm at the Berrima Village Hall. Tickets are $35 per person and $20 each for concession holders. Tickets can be secured by emailing lyndall1906@bigpond.com or calling 0408 839 687. The tickets will be refunded if it does not go ahead.
John Olsen: Goya's Dog
Lots to see
Discover art from John Olsen's incredible 80 year art career. He is from the Highlands who has travelled across the globe as an artist. The showcase is full of drawings, sketches, and includes new artworks and pieces that have only been in private collections. You can see this unique exhibition at Ngununggula until Sunday, May 15.
Waterbrook Landscape Prize
Arts galore
Discover a collection of unique landscapes at this local exhibition. Judge Even Salmon will award artworks $2000 for first prize and $1000 for second. Two hundred dollars will be given to a piece that is voted as the People's Choice. You can see this free exhibition at Bowral Art Gallery until Sunday, May 22.
