Four dedicated farmers eagerly made their way to the Sydney Royal Easter Show for a unique competition, and came away with more than they expected.

Angela Hughes, Chloe Sawell, Nicholas Hreszczuk and Andrew Scarsbrook were selected by the Moss Vale Show Society to compete in the Young Farmer's Challenge state final.
The challenge tests young farmers on their knowledge of the agricultural industry, where teams of four are provided with different scenarios they must complete.
Ms Hughes said the group, who entered the competition for the first time, was "ecstatic", when they were declared the winners on April 16.
"We literally screamed with excitement, it was insane," she said.
"We wanted to be there for the fun and experience."
Farmers have to make it through local and regional rounds before they qualify for state and national finals.
The Mittagong resident said that the local round did not take place at the Moss Vale Show this year, due to wet grounds, but were instead picked by the show society.
"It's been tough for the local shows sector and to represent the zone but NSW is a pretty good thing," Ms Hughes said.
"We were very humbled by the experience."
All four members have worked together previously, which Ms Hughes said was beneficial, because it allowed them to delegate tasks based on their strengths.
The group's efforts and expertise mean they get to compete in the Young Farmer's Challenge national championship in Adelaide, in 2023.
Ms Hughes said the group was thankful for the opportunity provided by the Moss Vale Show Society and the financial support from the Agricultural Societies Council.
