Also nominated in the region was Taralga Sports Club who will be up for the Heart of the Community section at the awards night in May.
Bowral manager Tony Dunn said the nomination, specifically for their Magical Musical Mondays with Mahalia Barnes program, was a nice reinforcement of the direction the club was heading in.
"It's good to be nominated," he told the Southern Highland News.
"It gives us recognition for what we're trying to do which is supporting the music industry because they've been massively affected by COVID.
"To be able to offer a venue that artists want to perform in has been fantastic. When we first reopened after COVID we were only able to have 60 people, then we could have around 140.
"It's been trusting times but the shows are now a more intimate feel which is the direction we're going.
"What we catered to previously was a lot more for the bigger acts like The Whitlams where we had upwards of 250 people here, now we're just marketed for that 150 range group which is more enjoyable."
It's been a big week for the club, which experienced flash flooding on Monday March 6 like other areas of the Southern Highlands.
Fortunately the drainage system helped salvage the synthetic green along with the help of some sporting volunteers.
"We had a few volunteers over on Thursday last week," he said.
"We actually sponsor the Hill Top cricket boys so we called them up and asked for a bit of manpower and they happily obliged.
"It was hard work but good, we had bowlers back playing on it over the weekend."
