Highlanders are welcome to explore the garden every Monday from 10am to 12pm. The community garden was founded in 2018 by volunteers who want to produce healthy and fresh produce. There is also a mini market on the fourth Saturday of the month.
Bowral Uniting Church Grocery Pantry
The Bowral Uniting Church pantry is open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-1pm. The pantry is located around the side of the church's office. Groceries are free and have been donated by local businesses. COVID practices are in place at the church. A free takeaway lunch is also available every Wednesday.
Screening of Ghostbusters Afterlife
- January 25, Empire Cinema, 4-6.10pm
Children from the ages of 12 to 18 can watch a free screening of Ghostbusters Afterlife, with popcorn and a drink. Qualified youth workers will supervise.
The event is a collaboration between Highlands Youth Services and the WSC.

JP Service
Two certified Justice of the Peace volunteers are going to witness documents weekly at the following locations:
- Springett's Arcade, Bowral: every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm
- Moss Vale IGA: every Thursday from 10am to 1pm
- Mittagong Market Place: every Saturday from 10am to 1pm
COVID measures are going to be in place and attendees must wear masks.

Citizen of the Year and Citizenship Ceremony
- January 26, online, 10-11.30am
This year's ceremony will be livestreamed. There will be a ceremony, presentation of the Citizen of the Year Awards and an address from Turbans4Australia founder and Wingecarribee Australia Day Ambassador, Amar Singh.

Railway Street Farmers Market
- Every Thursday, Corners of Railway Street and Spring Street, Moss Vale, 3-6pm
Grab some seasonal produce harvested by local growers this week. Highlanders also have the opportunity to meet the growers at the market.

Crop Swap Robertson
- Every Saturday, Robertson CTC, 9-10.30 am
Highlanders can grab fresh and seasonal fruits, vegetables and eggs weekly. A table is set up for people to put their produce, and swap with others. Attendees must adhere to social distancing and wear a mask. Magazines, plants and flowers are also welcome.
Exhibition: Creative and Thriving
- Until January 28, Council's Civic Centre, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on weekdays
This inclusive art exhibition celebrates over 20 local artists and makers with a disability for the International Day of Disability. Artists who have chosen to have their works for sale will have all proceeds go directly back to them.
