A total of $18,447 was awarded to the men's shed in December.
The community group received $9787 from the state government's Community Building Partnership Grants, $6424 from the IMB Bank Community Foundation and $2236 from the Australian Men's Shed Association.
President Peter Costigan said he "felt jubilant" about the news.
The Community Building Partnership Grant will be dedicated to extending the shed by three metres.
He said it allowed the group to move noisier equipment from the shed.
"It will also give us more space in the shed," he said.
This is the second time the group has received a grant from the IMB Bank Community Foundation, which will be put towards new equipment.

Members of the men's shed have brought joy to many through their projects, such as the wooden bus they made for kids to play in at a Hill Top preschool.
The community group has also created storage boxes for the Step Ahead Early Learning Centre in Thirlmere, and possum boxes in response to the loss of habitat after the bushfires.
Mr Costigan said that the shed provided men with the opportunity to connect with one another.

"It's a good place to come and have a chat, we just support men in Hill Top," he said.
Mr Costigan said the group was in the process of holding a welding class for members, and the third grant would be used to purchase safety equipment for it.
