The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers inside the Civic Centre at 3:30 pm. A ticket is required if you wish to attend the meeting. The meeting will also be live streamed on the council's website.
Several items will be discussed.
Proposed Licence to Pump Water across Council property
A report to seek council's approval for a proposed licence agreement to pump water from the Wingecarribee Shire River.
The current licence agreement between the council and the property owners of 584 Moss Vale Road, Burradoo expires on January 22, 2022.
The licensee has requested that the council renew the agreement to allow continued extraction of water from the Wingecarribee River.
The purpose of the licence is to continue to allow the licensee to maintain pipes under the surface of the ground.
Endeavour Energy Streetlighting LED Replacement Project
A report to seek approval to participate in an LED Streetlighting replacement project will be heard.
It is recommended that the council partner with Endeavour Energy and allocate $90,000 from the Revolving Energy Fund to fund the project.
Currently there are approximately 4812 streetlights across Wingecarribee Shire, which is owned by Endeavour Energy.
The council pays for the streetlighting service through a tariff system, which covers maintenance and operational costs, as well as paying for electricity consumption costs.
Some of the advantages of LED luminaires include high quality lighting, energy efficiency gains, reduced electricity consumption costs, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
Animal Shelter and Moss Vale SES Design
A report in to the tender design for the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter and Moss Vale Branch SES will be heard.
It is recommended that the council accepts the tender from Figgis and Jeferson Tepa tender for $398,488.22 in relation to the design concerning the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter and SES branch.
The council received several tenders which ranged from $396,573 (lowest) to $613,848 (highest).
The council will also make $176,000 in funding available for the design of the SES Moss Vale faciliry from the reserves associated with the sale of the Frankland Street, Mittagong Property.
