Police have released an image of a vehicle of interest as investigations continue into the serious assault of a man at Tahmoor last month.

At about 5am on Monday December 27, 2021, emergency services were called to a carpark in Thirlmere Way, Tahmoor, following reports of an assault.
On arrival, police located a 20-year-old man with serious head and facial injuries.
The injured man was taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he was placed in an induced coma. He has since been released.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assault.
As inquiries continue, police have released an image of vehicle of interest, described as a small blue hatchback.
Police were told the vehicle was seen in the Tahmoor area at the time of the alleged assault.
The vehicle was later found burnt out by police and seized for forensic examination.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information about the vehicle, or its occupants, to come forward.
