Child Care Centre, Bowral
A submission for a child care centre on 9 Oxley Hills Road, Bowral has been made. The development is set to cost an approximate $1,250,000. It was first submitted to Wingecarribee Shire Council on December 14, 2021.
The childcare centre will accommodate 96 children and will have 16 staff. Drop off times are anticipated to between 7 am - 10 am, with pick ups occurring between 2 pm and 6 pm.

Proposed Upgrade (Replacement) of Livestock Yards at the Southern Regional Livestock Exchange, Moss Vale
The Southern Regional Livestock Exchange (SRLX) is the local cattle saleyards that are owned and operated on behalf of the community by the Wingecarribee Shire Council (WSC).
The SRLX is the only cattle selling facility within the Wingecarribee Shire and is the major centre for cattle sales in the Southern Tablelands.
The application was lodged on January 4, 2022. The proposed upgrade is set to cost an approximate $4.25 million.
The proposed upgrade works will include:
- Staged demolition and reconstruction of current 'animal handling' infrastructure (pens and fences), including a buyers' walkway and undercover yards to improve centre productivity
- Improvements to the 'soft flooring' in the livestock pens and laneways in order to improve animal welfare
- Upgraded animal (primarily cattle) handling equipment - unloading/loading ramps and the like
- New ramp scanners to deliver superior biosecurity and improved traceability
- Improvements to the truck wash facility to allow more efficient and safer washing out of trucks once unloaded
Dwelling house, Bundanoon
A development application to build a dwelling on 11 Heritage Drive Bundanoon was lodged to Wingecarribee Shire Council on January 4, 2022. No other information is currently known.
Proposed subdivision for four lots for self storage facility, Moss Vale.
A proposed subdivision to develop a new self storage centre in Moss Vale was put forward on December 23, 2021.
The Development Application proposes a subdivision of three lots becoming four lots.
The proposal involves:
- Construction of three new double storey self-storage buildings. The self-storage reception area and related amenities incorporated into one of the buildings.
- Related civil improvements, car parking, fencing, gates, signage and landscaping.
- Proposed of Three Lots into Four Lots - Lots 5,6 and 7 DP 1129996
It is estimated to cost $6.1 million.
