As part of the Festival of Lights, Corbett Garden has been transformed into a Christmas Wonderland.
With lights shining bright every night in the lead up to Christmas, the Christmas Wonderland will stage two family-friendly concerts on December 17 and 18.
Kicking off at 7:30 pm, each concert will showcase different local performers, including:
- Women of Note
- The Bundanoon Pipe Band
- Two Strings Short
- Rory Matthews
- Meg Gordon
- Several young people from the Vocal Muster (Jessica Howell, Millie Lester, Amanda Carerra Vegra)
- Several poets from the Virtual to Actual Project organised by Southern Tablelands Arts (Wtnn Beard, Robyn Skyes, Andrew Galan)
- Squash J
The concert will conclude at 10 pm on both nights.
Families might want to head to Corbett Gardens early as rumour has it that Santa Claus and Mrs Claus might stop past at 7 pm on each evening.
Audience members are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner, and rug, however the event is alcohol free.
The Festival of Lights is proudly brought to you by the Southern Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Southern Highlands Foundation, and a small group of local business owners.
The group have set up an appeal to raise funds for this year's event and donations (of any size) can be made through at shfoundation.org.au.
