Santa's Grotto
- Until December 23, Bowral Guide Hall 44 Boolwey St, Bowral.
Bowral will be transformed into a winter wonderland this Christmas. There will be Santa photos, live music, food stalls, a petting zoo and much more in the lead-up to December 25.
Kids can make cookies and paper snowmen but spots are being filled quickly so make sure to book here!

Alfresco afternoons at Retford Park
- December 16-17, 4-7pm, Retford Park House, 1325 Old South Road, Bowral
Alfresco Afternoons at Retford Park are a special way to have pre-Christmas catch up with friends: drinks on the front verandah of the striking Victorian Italianate mansion and a stroll through the formal gardens in the cooler evening air.
Inside, the house will be beautifully decorated and styled for Christmas by Coty Farquhar, creative director/stylist and founder of Styling Magazine Australia.
The shop will be open for shopping and browsing a gorgeous range of gifts.
Tickets are $27 for National Trust members, $38 for general admission adults, $30 for concession. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
Includes a glass of sparkling wine and canapes, access to house (ground floor only) and gardens, White Cottage exhibition and shop.
Mittagong Markets

Mittagong Markets will be back this weekend. Head down to grab fresh produce, homemade products, special treats for pets and much more.

Clear Strings Presents 'The Nutcracker'

A holiday classic, 'The Nutcracker' is a captivating musical experience for children and adults alike.
Meet the members of the String Family and be carried away to the Land of the Sweets as the musicians of Clear Strings tell the classic Christmas story of the Nutcracker.
Designed to help foster a life-long love of classical music the audience are encouraged to dance, move, and enjoy getting involved.
Christmas Wreath and Essential Oils Workshop
- Sunday December 19, 2:30-4:30 pm, Black Hen on Station, Station St Bowral
Curated in a magical space right in the heart of Bowral at Black Hen on Station, Station St Bowral (behind the Royal Hotel).
Join in for an afternoon enjoying a beautiful cheese platter and bubbles, guided through a two hour workshop learning to create a dried floral wreath and essential oil roller using high quality Young Living oils.
All materials and flowers are included. Nibbles and wine provided. All creations are yours to take home, or gift to someone!
