Principal Jason Conroy said in an announcement on the school's website on December 6 a "member of our community" tested positive and that school would continue to operate for most students.
"NSW Health have promptly assessed the situation and advised that there is no requirement to cease school operations," he said.
"As we are operating strict cohorting at our school, only students in Year 10 are asked to self-isolate as a precaution while we complete contact tracing."

The latest update for NSW revealed that two people have died in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, and there are 260 COVID cases.
Of these cases, 155 are in hospital and 28 are in ICU.
The latest vaccination update revealed that 9.4.7 per cent of residents in NSW over the age of 16 have had their first COVID dose, and 92.8 per cent are fully vaccinated.
A total of 81.3 per cent of NSW residents between the ages of 12 and 15 have had their first vaccine, and 77.2 per cent are fully vaccinated against COVID.
A total of 58,706 tests were also conducted in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Residents are encouraged to come forward for testing if they have any any symptoms.
