The award focuses on championing Australian wines that were made with grapes grown 500 metres above sea level.
The Bowral winery's non-vintage Limited Releases Blanc de Blancs was awarded Best Sparkling in Show at the awards night on December 2.
Winemaker Tony Cosgriff said it was a "great result" for the 100 per cent Chardonnay wine.
"It's a style of wine we have been doing for a long time," he said.
"We have been doing it every year and it has consistently gone well."
The vineyard has been creating sparkling wines since 2005.
The non-vintage blend had elements that aged since 2015.
Mr Cosgriff said that the trophy was a great addition for a difficult year.
Last year's wet weather posed a challenge for growing grapes, and the risk of disease from a wetter season had to be monitored more.
Centennial's sparkling was one of seven wines that received medals on the night.
The 2018 Reserve Shiraz and the Bridge Creek Mencia were both awarded silver.
This year's Pinot Grigio, Reserve Bridge Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé, Reserve Shiraz Viognier from 2018 and the winery's 2019 Reserve Bridge Creek Rondinella Corvina all received bronze.
The winemaker said that Centennial's sparkling varieties have been well awarded in wine shows across the country over the years.
Centennial Vineyards was not the only winery in the Highlands that was awarded top accolades.
Tertini Wines won seven awards including Best Dessert Wine in Show and Cherry Tree Hill Wines won eight awards which included Best Pinot Noir in Show.
A total of 126 wines from 33 wineries across the country were entered in the show this year.
Of the 88 awards given out on the night, 41 were bestowed to wineries across the Highlands.
