The Highlands is going to be full of Christmas cheer from this week with concerts, decorations and sparkling lights as part of the Festival of Lights.
The initiative began last year as a way to bring the community together and spread joy around the Highlands around Christmas time.
You are also going to see decorative Christmas displays in stores around the region.
The festival kicks off at the Corbett Gardens on December 7 from 4.30pm with speeches, live music and the illumination of the tree in the garden.
The Christmas Wonderland, which is also known as the 'mini Vivid', will also be unveiled on the night once it gets darker.
Highlanders are encouraged to bring a picnic along for the night.
Twilight shopping and extended trading hours also begin this week until Christmas.
You can also go and see the Christmas tree in front of council chambers in Moss Vale be lit up on December 9 from 4.30pm.
The tree in front of the Destination Southern Highlands Centre in Mittagong will also be illuminated on December 10 from 4.30pm.
