Seventy-nine watercolour masterpieces have been judged for this year's John Copes Watercolour Prize in Bowral, and the winners have been revealed.

Artists from the Highlands and across Australia entered the exhibition which is being showcased at the Bowral Art Gallery.
All of the artworks showcase the colours and details that can be achieved through the use of watercolour and the emotions they can evoke.
Some of the paintings also included other mediums such as graphite and pastels to create depth and different textures.
Brian Stratton's work Southern Stonescape was awarded first prize and $3000, where the judges praised his technique and attention to detail.
"An intense image of cropped patterning of stones with an imaginative placement of tonal elements," the comments said.
"Extraordinary control of both paint and drawing components is evident in contemplation of the work."
Scribbly Scrub by Sandra Hendy had "imaginative placement of both tree-like visual elements and ground" and was awarded second place and $600.
"This patterning allows for rewarding visual experience in both scrutiny and association with reality," the comments said.
A total of $400 and third place was awarded to Lawrie Walton for Abbotsford Point Boatshed - Repairs.
Robyn Kinsela, Patricia Johnston and Scott Thompson's artworks received highly commended and Graham Sinclair, Deborah Stokes and Jennifer Woodwell's works were commended.
Highlanders have the opportunity to admire all of the artworks daily from 10am to 4pm until December 5.
Attendees must be double-vaccinated and must wear a mask inside the gallery.
