Yerrinbool Railway Garden
- October 25, Yerrinbool Railway Station, 10am - 12pm
Highlanders are welcome to explore the garden every Monday. The community garden was founded in 2018 by volunteers who want to produce healthy and fresh produce.
Exhibition: Awash with Colour
- October 28 - November 2, Bowral Art Gallery
The Bowral Gallery welcomes art lovers back this week with a new exhibition. Awash with Colour showcases the beauty and possibilities of watercolours and their vibrancy. It is an annual exhibition by the Tuesday morning watercolour group who cannot wait to show Highlanders what they have been working on.

There are three new films hitting the silver screen this week in the Highlands. You can get into the spooky season early with Halloween Kills, take everyone along for Ron's Gone Wrong, or appreciate opera with the Metropolitan Opera: Boris Godunov.

Exhibition: Into the Light
- Every Friday and Saturday until December 6 by booking, Whitewall Art Projects
This exhibition showcases artists across the country and shines a spotlight on mental health. Ten per cent of sales will be donated to the chapters Lifeline Macarthur and Lifeline WA. Visitors over the age of 16 must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination when they arrive. Masks must also be worn, and checking in and proof of address must be completed before entering.

Ngununggula Gallery: Art And... Talk Series

You can learn more about the story behind Ngununggula's Entry Pavillion this week. Artist Megan Cope and award-winning writer Ellen van Neerven will discuss the artwork and its significance for the First Nations community in the Highlands.

Picnic in the vines
- Thursday to Sunday, Southern Highlands Winery
Vaccinated residents can grab their picnic blankets and enjoy a picnic for two at the serene Southern Highlands Winery. Attendees can enjoy a cold picnic selection. The picnic experience costs $75, and orders can be placed by calling 4868 2300, or by sending an SMS to 0415 891 555.
