At about 7.40pm, officers conducting proactive patrols in the Goulburn area attempted to stop a white Toyota Corolla traveling south on Auburn Street.
The driver allegedly failed to stop as directed and a pursuit was initiated.
While attempting to evade police, the vehicle collided with the front of a marked police vehicle, causing minor damage.

Due to manner of driving, the pursuit was terminated a short time later.
The Toyota was later located at the end of Black Horse Lane at Sutton Forest, crashed into a tree.
The driver, a 23-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.
In a subsequent search of the vehicle and the woman's belongings, police seized methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The woman was taken to Goulburn Police Station and charged with drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, police pursuit, not stop, drive dangerously, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, and drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous.
She was also charged with several outstanding warrants.
The woman was refused bail to appear at Wollongong Bail Court on Sunday, October 24.
