The Bowral resident's book Willoughby tells the story of an everyday garden snail that is looking for something special.
Ms Jeffrey has dedicated Willoughby to the Friends of the Botanic Gardens in Bowral, where a portion of sales would be donated to the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens.
"It may not seem like the right fit, a snail and gardeners, but what a fun way to spread the news of the wonderful work the Friends do at the SHBG," she said.
"I'm hoping that Willoughby is welcomed with open arms and through continuous sales, funds can be raised into the future to assist the gardens."

The story of Willoughby was sitting in Ms Jeffrey's drawer for a couple of years before she showed it to friends who have gotten their stories published.
Their support allowed the Bowral author to self-publish her story.
"I also see Willoughby helping to bring children and their families on board allowing us to grow and develop," she continued.
Copies of the book are $19.95 each, and can be found on the author's site rossendalecottage.com.au.
The Highlands author hopes that future books can be sold at the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens.
