If you're up for a gentle health and wellbeing challenge, join Petrea King, Founder and CEO of the Quest for Life Foundation and, at the same time, help Petrea celebrate her 70th birthday this month.
Petrea has dedicated more than half her life to delivering hope and healing to hundreds of thousands of people and has touched the lives of millions through her work with the Quest for Life Foundation.
"I vividly remember the day I was given a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukaemia and was told I only had a few months left to live," Petrea said.
"So reaching my 70th birthday is, for me, a great reason to celebrate."
"I imagine we've all been in a state of flux since the onset of Covid, so, with the help of my Quest team, we've devised a gentle challenge to improve our health and wellbeing while helping me to celebrate this milestone birthday."
Petrea is hoping to fulfill a dream and raise $70,000, to honour her 70 years, to provide ongoing support to the Quest for Life Foundation's programs for people living with trauma.
If you are able to honour Petrea's work in celebration of her birthday, and make healthy mindful changes to your life, join our Quest for Health & Wellbeing 30-day Challenge on the GoFundraise platform.
Fundraising is optional and you're very welcome just to enjoy the challenges, however every dollar raised will go towards helping people who are struggling with their mental health.
"This challenge will help you regain some control in your life, put healthy, mindful habits in place, feel motivated and improve your mental, physical and emotional health," Petrea said.
The challenge comes with a printable calendar that makes it easy and fun to track your progress. You will receive weekly emails with information about the challenge and opportunities to join Petrea Live on Facebook.
"This challenge is for you, so you feel empowered," she said.
"Now is the perfect time."
