Currently the pool will be open for exercise purposes only, with swimmers able to swim for up to two hours. Customers are strongly encouraged to arrive, swim and leave.
Several COVID-19 safety measures have been introduced.
In line with the recently issued health orders, swimmers who wish to use Bowral Swimming Centre will be required to show proof od double vaccination on entry.
The council run facility will also ask patients to register via QR code or sign the record book and to maintain appropriate physical distancing.
Here are some the other COVID safe measures the council has undertaken:
Stay home if you are unwell - If you are unwell please do not visit the facility. Anybody displaying cold/flu like symptoms will not be granted entry.
Cashless payment preferred- We will still be accepting cash as payment though we would prefer you to use a credit or debit card.
Maximum Capacity Areas - We have displayed signage across the facility illustrating the maximum capacity of each space within our facility, please ensure you abide by this. Council will close their facilities at any time to ensure social distancing can be maintained.
Sanitise Station - We have a sanitise station set up upon entry, please sanitise when visiting.
Bubblers Not Operational - Bubblers are not to be used however drink bottles may be filled from the bottle fill station however the top of your drink bottle must not touch the dispenser.
Limit Shower Use - Showers are still operational and available to use though we ask that you please limit your time in the changerooms by coming to the facility ready to swim and shower at home.
Social Distancing - Please keep 1.5m away from staff and other patrons at all times.
No Grouping in Lanes - Please do not group at the end of lanes as this breaches the social distancing guidelines. Please exit the pool when you are not swimming.
No Loaning of Pool Equipment - Please bring your own pool equipment to the facility, if you forget to bring your equipment such as googles we are unable to lend these to you for your swim.
COVID Safe Marshal - During peak times at our facilities there will be a dedicated Safety Marshal onsite to ensure social distancing is maintained between patrons visiting the facility and that all touch points are regularly cleaned.
Kiosk - We may restrict what is sold at the kiosk to ensure social distancing requirements can be met during busier times. This may mean hot food operation will cease.
Bundanoon Swimming Pool will reopen in November.
