Women's cricket explodes in Highlands as organisers push for sixth team
The Tina Macpherson Cup started off with four clubs, and has double the players for the upcoming cricket season. A new club will also join the four clubs already involved in the women's competition.

Give Where You Live has assisted many Highlanders, and has highlighted what is needed by people in the region since it launched last month. Over 20 charities have registered with the online platform and over $2000 has been donated to charities to buy items.

A spud-tacular festival has been confirmed for Robertson next year, with the hopes that it will bring the community together, and attract people to the Highlands. There is plenty of activities on the menu such as a peeling competition, potato mash speed eating and sculpture competitions.
