Last week saw some warm weather attract big numbers to the course with Saturday boasting 158 players, fast approaching record levels for September.
Monday's competition bore witness to one of the rounds of the week by Junior Member Angus Malcolm. Angus presently plays off a handicap of nine and shot 74 for 42 Stableford points to win the competition from Anthony Fischbeck on 40 points.
Also joining the Forties Club during the week was Ian Thorpe, Jim Cole, Markus Fenwick, Renato D'Adam, Justin Allen, Peter Upton, Peter Shiel, Zac Clewitt, Richard Johnson and long standing Member Stephen Hancock, who had a great inward nine to easily win C-Grade with 41 points.
Richard Johnson was in good form to win B-Grade on Saturday with a great score of 42 points.
Iain Battersby showed his return to form by holing out on the 11th green with a hole in one, a shot most golfers only dream about. The 11th Hole is sponsored by Milton Park Country Hotel and Spa.
