Ms Morrow has lots of experience that she would be bringing to the committee.
She was in the travel industry for over 15 years, spent 20 years as a businesswoman and volunteered for not-for-profit organisations.
"I have loved living in the gorgeous Southern Highlands, both as a part-time and now full-time resident," the Burrawang resident said.
Ms Morrow also mentioned she looked forward to promoting the uniqueness of the Highlands.
She was also determined to preserve its "country character, so that it would be enjoyed by as many people as possible, in a manner that served locals, and the area as a whole."
