Most families of World War veterans have a wide collection of letters, photos and souvenirs but none quite like the one Sharon Gould has sitting on her shelf.

Mrs Gould's grandfather, Lance Sergeant Jack Price, served in the Australian Imperial Force during World War II and spent time in New Guinea in 1942.
As well as sending photos and letters, he also shipped a rather unusual item home to his young daughter in Welby.
"Our grandfather was over in New Guinea in 1942 and he posted an entire coconut that you would cut off the tree," Mrs Gould told the Southern Highland News.
"My mother would have been eight or nine and he actually posted it to her here in Welby and he wrote on it in paint and that's how he addressed it to her. We've had it all these years."
A unique connection to generations past, the family thought they had lost the coconut when the house it was in burned down two years ago.
But amongst the rubble it was recovered with little damage, perhaps unsurprising seeing as it had already survived a war and a 2700 km journey almost 80 years ago.
"We had it all these years and two years ago the bloody house burned down where my mother lived in Tocumwal," she explained.
"So the coconut was burned along with everything else but my brother dug through all the rubbish and found the actual coconut inside the burned shell. But the coconut itself is still there and he posted it to me!"
When asked whom the prized fruit will go to next, Mrs Gould seemed very relaxed.
"Whoever wants it! I have a son that loves that sort of thing, anything to do with family.
"It's a fun story. When my mother was a young girl and my grandfather was over there, he must have befriended a Papuan and got her to write a letter to my mother and she wrote back so they became pen pals.
"But my mother didn't keep the letters. Wouldn't that have been a story!"
Like many who served in those horrific conflicts, Mr Price didn't speak much of his time in uniform, instead returning to a loving extended family who he forged a deep connection with.
"He was an adorable man," she said.
"I still miss him and he's been dead 25 years. He was a remarkable man, you'll make me cry just thinking about him."
