And one plant that offers a seasonal showcase that never disappoints is the Magnolia.
Keen photographer Jeanette Newberry recently snapptued these blooming beauties while on a walk around her Bowral neighbourhood.

"I love the spectacular magnolias in bloom at the moment, especially combined with the blossoms. It's always a feast for the eyes walking around Bowral," Jeanette said.
She pointed out that the Magnolia tree was also referred to as "The Queen of the Forest".
These beautiful plants also have a long life span of 100 years or more given the right growing conditions.
