A COVID-19 positive case visited the store on Monday, August 30 between 2:18 pm and 2:44 pm.
It is not currently on the NSW Health Website.
A statement from store management posted on the front doors said the store would reopen on September 3 at 7 am after the deep cleaning process was completed.
"As a food retailer, we already have a high standard of cleaning and hygiene standards in place, however in addition to these high standards the store is having a deep clean overnight," the statement read.
"In the interest of public safety and wellbeing of our employees and customers, we have decided to close the store for the remainder of the day."
It is not believed to be linked to the Moss Vale medical practice case.
Currently, there are five cases of COVID-19 in the Southern Highlands, one in the 2575 postcode and four in the 2576 postcode.
Across NSW 1288 people tested positive for COVID-19, with more than 127,000 people tested as of September 1, 8 pm.
Residents are urged to get tested at the onset of the slightest symptoms which include headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever.
If symptoms appear, people must isolate and get tested immediately, and remain isolated until a negative result is received.
To help stop the spread of COVID-19:
- If you are unwell, get tested and isolate right away - don't delay.
- Wash your hands regularly. Take hand sanitiser with you when you go out.
- Keep your distance. Leave 1.5 metres between yourself and others.
- Wear a mask at all times when outside your home, except when exercising.
