Emergency services were called to the Hume Highway at Wilton, near the Picton off-ramp, following reports of a crash between two trucks just after 6am on August 17.
One of the drivers, a 48-year-old man, died at the scene.
The male driver of the other truck was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Camden Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
The Hume Highway has now reopened, with light traffic on the diverted route on Remembrance Drive.
