Exquisitely Unboring: the art of Leon Pericles

Renowned Australian printmaker, painter and sculptor Leon Pericles has a collection of artworks that showcase his wit, sense of humour and attention to detail that you can view online.
Mr Pericles' fictional town of Widjimorphup makes a comeback in the exhibition as well as his social commentary on rural and suburban Australia.
They can be viewed here, and Highlanders would have the opportunity to purchase artworks.
Winter Warmers in the Gardens: Moss Vale Evening CWA
- Daily until the end of August, Leighton Park
Make sure you check out the trees at Leighton Park decked out in their winter warmers whilst maintaining social distancing. The Moss Vale Evening CWA have wrapped the trees in explosions of colour to bring smiles to residents, after their yarn bombing was a success last year.
Come and see endless pom-poms dotted through the trees, colourful wraps made of recycled materials, and spot the Aussie creatures scattered through the wraps.
NSW Government has said that regional residents that live with more than two people could go out together for exercise as a household. Highlanders could also establish a "singles bubble" with someone outside of the household. Members outside the are not required to be registered.
Exhibition: Landscape with Rock
- Daily until September 19, online (Sturt Gallery)
Landscape with Rock encompasses 30 drawings, prints and ceramic plates by Tony Ameneiro, who was influenced by Australian landscape painter Fred Williams' visit to The Crags - a property in the Nattai Valley in 1957.
A catalogue with all of the artworks can be viewed here, and people can preview the exhibition online. The catalogue documents which artworks have been sold.

The Last 50 Orange-Bellied Parrots Exhibition
- Until August 31, online (Milk Factory Gallery)
This exhibition by Gillie and Marc aims to raise awareness for the dwindling population of orange-bellied parrots. Fifty colourful paintings of the last parrots reinforce that the population has plummeted. The exhibition also has information on where people can donate for conservation and research, and information on the species.
The exhibition can be viewed online.
Exhibitions at the SHAC
- Until September 13, online
You can view three unique exhibitions at the SHAC in Robertso from home! Have a look at Alexandra Taylor's vibrant Burnt Orange showcase, immerse yourself in Julianne Ross Allcorn's art full of Australian flora and how artists at the SHAC explore the concept of 'self'.
All three exhibitions can be viewed online.
Regen Action Wingecarribee Webinar

Regen Action Wingecarribee is a not-for-profit organisation driven by a dedicated group of local volunteers who implement initiatives that promote landscape regeneration across the Shire. The organisation is determined to show people what they can do at home to regenerate the landscape and adopt strategies that are beneficial for native species of flora and fauna. This in turn will benefit the environment.
There have been calls to re-assess current practices with the recent findings of the IPCC report.
A panel of experts will lead the webinar to launch the organisation.
