Even the way some of these' white men' were elected was not democratic. Some were elected with only a few votes thanks to our preferential system employed in this shire.
In a few short months this administrator has managed to address some really pressing issues and set up sustainable systems to take this council into the future, with improved transparency and sorely needed governance and accountability.

Time to get serious here about Covid
Now that it is clear our Premier has no idea on how to implement an effective lockdown, it is time we took responsibility for our health ourselves. We should immediately report to police the many Sydney travellers who come here illegally. We should also challenge businesses which allow un-masked staff to deal with customers. And while I'm at it - we mainly breathe through our noses. Therefore people wearing masks not covering noses might as well not wear one at all. I write this letter from a selfish perspective, being in a wheelchair with Multiple Sclerosis. But then, I am writing about selfish people. If I contract Covid 19 I will die or at the very least be even more disabled than I am now.
