It's also a great chance for those under the age of 18 to get some practice in before the brand new Junior Summer Competition kicks off.
Commencing in October the start of Term 4, the competition will be run in three distinct categories.
Magic Hoopstars - Learn to play for children aged 5-10. Two terms of fun basketball skills.
Junior competition - U10 and U12 played each Wednesday afternoon.
Teenage competition - U14 and U16 played Friday afternoons. U18 played Monday afternoons.
Getting involved is easy and it's a great way to stay fit and meet new friends. If you don't have a team you and your friends can rock up and be placed in one.
For more information or to get involved please contact the Moss Vale and District Basketball Association on 02 48681569 or email mvbball@bigpond.com.au
