Exhibition: Landscape with Rock
- Daily until September 19, Sturt Gallery, 10:00am - 5:00pm
Landscape with Rock encompasses 30 drawings, prints and ceramic plates by Tony Ameneiro, who was influenced by Australian landscape painter Fred Williams' visit to The Crags - a property in the Nattai Valley in 1957.
A catalogue with all of the artworks can be viewed here, and people can preview the exhibition online.
The gallery has a limited capacity, where masks must be worn inside the gallery, and all attendees must sign-in via the QR codes.
Viva La Truffle

Winter Warmers in the Gardens: Moss Vale Evening CWA
- Daily until mid August, Leighton Park
Take a hop, jump and skip to Leighton Park to see the trees decked out in their winter warmers. The Moss Vale Evening CWA have wrapped the trees in explosions of colour to bring smiles to residents, after their yarn bombing was a success last year.
Come and see endless pom-poms dotted through the trees, colourful wraps made of recycled materials, and spot the Aussie creatures scattered through the wraps.
Waterbrook Drawing Prize
- Daily until August 8, Bowral Art Gallery, 10:00am - 4:00pm
The Waterbrook Drawing Exhibition has been extended for another week!
This is your last chance to get lost in drawings from artists across NSW who depict a variety of subject matters in a myriad of ways.
Drawings displayed showcase graphite, pencil, ink, pastels, charcoal and mixed media, and are available to purchase.
Guests must wear masks and maintain social distancing inside the gallery, and sign in using the QR codes at the door.
Exquisitely Unboring: the art of Leon Pericles
- Daily mid-September, Milk Factory Gallery, 10:00am
Renowned Australian printmaker, painter and sculptor Leon Pericles has a collection of artworks on display that showcase his wit, sense of humour and attention to detail.
Mr Pericles fictional town of Widjimorphup comes to life as he makes social commentary on rural and suburban Australia through satire.
Artworks are also available for purchase.
Closing hours at the gallery have been subject to change due to Covid, so the gallery recommends phoning them on 02 48621077 on the day you plan to visit to confirm times.
Movie release: The Suicide Squad
- From August 5, Empire Cinema, varying sessions
Margot Robbie, Idris Elba and John Cena lead this blockbuster based on the DC Comics team the Suicide Squad.
Masks must be worn inside the theatre, and movie goers are encouraged to book their tickets online.
Patrons can also use their Discover vouchers until August 31, but they must be redeemed in person.
The Secret World of Tallulah McCord
- Friday to Monday until August 16, Mental Bowral (11 Station Street, Mittagong), 10:00am - 5:00pm
Come and see local artist Tallulah McCord's collection of 50 digital drawings and animations at the Mental Bowral.
It is the inaugural exhibition in the FUNDAMENTAL gallery which re-opened its doors to the public last month Mittagong.
