As temperatures plummet across the region, community members have braved the cold to line up for Covid-19 tests.
The chilly conditions have prompted the question "Why don't we have a drive-through clinic similar to that which is available in nearby Goulburn?"
The Bureau of Meteorology recorded minus 3.4 degrees in the Southern Highlands in the early hours of July 22. A maximum of 12 degrees was expected for the same day.
The average temperature for the week has been nine degrees and it is predicted to stay in the low double digits until late next week.
The Southern Highland News has asked NSW Health and SWSLHD on several occasions if a drive-through clinic is on the horizon for residents in the region.
It would provide some warmer comfort for those who step out to be tested.
Of course one of the considerations needs to be on also keeping the hard working testing staff out of the cold.

South Western Sydney Local Health District recorded 123 Covid-19 tests conducted at Bowral and District Hospital on July 22.
There are currently two active cases of Covid-19 in the community.
Fragments of the virus were also found at the Moss Vale sewage treatment plant.
Are you avoiding the test because you don't want to line up in the cold? Do you want to see a drive-through testing clinic in the Highlands? Take our survey and let us know.
