Carl Spilker, Glen Giese, Brian Porter, Gordon Lewis def. Keith Edwards, Terry Norwood, Alex K, Greg Lewis 16-15
This was a very low scoring match with plenty of highlights.
Team Gordon held a 3-2 lead after four ends but on the next end Team Greg picked up five shots for a 7-3 lead.
Considering the weather conditions all players did well to play in-form and at the halfway mark Team Greg had a 9-7 lead.
With some very tight heads in the second half of the match, Team Greg started to get the upper hand and held a 15-11 lead with two ends to play.
On the 20th end the match took a dramatic turn when Team Gordon picked up four shots to have the game level, 15-15.
On the last end Team Gordon had a bowl sitting right on the jack and that is where it stayed giving them a one-shot win.
Fingers crossed we will see all players back on the green this week and not battling the flu.
