Mental Bowral is due to re-open its doors, and welcome Highlanders to its gallery called FUNDAMENTAL on Saturday with a new exhibition.
The art space relocated to 11 Station Street in Mittagong, with a larger space for Highlanders to come forward, and get creative in a variety of mediums, including art and music.
Founder Sergei Netchaef said Mental Bowral's mission was to "give people more access to the arts across all demographics."
"The main element of the studios and galleries was to find individuals that had an idea, arts-based project or desire, but didn't necessarily have the resources or the network," he said.
"We have primarily worked with individuals and individual projects, and bring those to life in the community."
Highlands artist Tallulah McCord's collection of digital drawings and animations titled The Secret World of Tallulah McCord, would debut on Saturday.
Mr Netchaef worked closely with Ms McCord and helped her find the best resources and mediums to bring the exhibition together.
He said it was going to be a "really special exhibition".
The cinema club, open studio and live music sessions are also due to make a comeback once restrictions ease.
Mr Netchaef also mentioned a recording studio and recording label called Mental Records were also future projects for the space.
Members of the community also have the opportunity to rent walls and four studios in the new space.
Mr Netchaef also mentioned that the art space aimed to introduce programs that could be provided through the NDIS for creators with disabilities.
Ms McCord's exhibition would be showcased in the FUNDAMENTAL gallery until August 16.
Mental Bowral officially opens this Saturday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, and masks must be worn inside the premises.
The gallery would then be open from Friday to Monday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
People can get in touch with Mr Netchaef by emailing email@example.com.
Updates about restrictions would be posted on Mental Bowral's Facebook page and website.
