"Our staff are setting up to work remotely and we are examining alternative temporary sites to service customers, including a temporary mobile ATM and a pop-up branch location," Mr Parkinson said on Friday afternoon.
"Our regional customer care team will also be supporting impacted customers in the coming days by discussing alternative banking options with them."
He added that all staff were unharmed.

"All our team members are safe, well and being supported," Mr Parkinson said.
"We understand this is a very difficult time for the Bowral community and we are committed to supporting our customers and staff."
He encouraged business banking customers to reach out to their relationship managers to discuss how they can continue to do their banking while the Bowral branch is closed.
Customers can continue to access their ANZ accounts 24 hours a day and do their banking via ATMs, ANZ Internet Banking, telephone banking and the ANZ app.
If customers need help they should call the Contact Centre on 13 13 14.
