The Southern Highlands Foundation joined with Community Links Wellbeing - Recovery Support Service and Wingecarribee Shire Council Community Recovery to brighten the day fire-affected residents on May 30.
The fun took place at Wingello Public School. It took the form of a fun day and plant fair.

The day gave residents from the southern villages a chance to go shopping for plants to help rebuild their gardens impacted by the Black Summer Bushfires.
$10,000 in vouchers were distributed from FireAid 2020 and GlobalGiving appeals.
NativeGrace, Welby Garden Centre, Mt Murray Nursery and Wariapendi Native Nursery offered a variety of plants and gardening advice.
Each nursery also generously donated additional items in support.
Other highlights of the day included tasty treats on offer at a barbecue run by Bundanoon Lions Club, along with entertainment provided by Jess from The Vocal Muster and Marulan Castle Hire.
A spokesperson for Southern Highlands Foundation extended a big thank you to all who helped make the even a success.
"This event was an example of how community connects together helping each other to build goodwill during times of need and uncertainty," the spokesperson said.
