The college rallied the community together and achieved their goal of raising $50,000 for the Ronald McDonald House initiative.
Ronald McDonald's communication manager Claire Gordon was at the college for a cheque presentation at an assembly on Friday.
The cause is close to the hearts of the Oxley community, who have been raising funds in honour of fellow student Emily Hunt, who was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer in 2019.
Emily's parents Jono and Deb who teach at the college, have been astounded by the support they have received.

"It's phenomenal," Mr Hunt said.
"The number of people who have provided for us, and given practical as well as incredible blessing of support is ridiculously amazing."
The Hunt family have spent 149 nights in the Ronald McDonald House near Westmead Children's Hospital following Emily's diagnosis.
Mr Hunt has been touched by the college's determination to unite as a collective for the cause.
"Oxley talks a lot about community," Mr Hunt added.
"It's when you understand the reach that a community has to be able to engage with generously supporting so many different things, you see that there's real power in a community to love and to help."
"We've experienced that in phenomenal ways."
Staff and students got creative with bringing awareness and funds to the cause.
They danced through Oxley's grounds in May as part of the seven-day dance challenge, held a disco, sold baked goods and held a rugby union gala day with the help of the Bowral Blacks.
Over $1.8 million has been raised for across the country for a total of 7431 nights stay in Ronald McDonald Houses.
People can still donate to Oxley's fundraising page on the Dance for Sick Kids website.
