Wingecarribee Shire Council advises that to enable these construction activities some heavy machinery including trucks, cranes and trade vehicles will require direct access to the site located between 16 - 24 Bendooley Street in Bowral.
As of consequence, during construction hours, the hall's immediate street frontage on Bendooley Street will be restricted to Construction Zone Parking only.
While contractors will endeavor to minimise any inconvenience, motorists are warned of temporary parking changes and that parking may at times be limited.
Bendooley Street will remain open to through traffic throughout the project construction however where possible motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Immediate pedestrian access to the adjacent Bowral Library and Highlands Community Centre in Stafford Cottage will also be impacted with access to be moved to the northern side of the building.
The council thanks immediate businesses, motorists and pedestrians in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any disruption.
